In 2020, when Sofia was just 9 years old and the world was on pause, her love for plants grew. While looking to keep herself busy, she took to the world of plant propagation. It didn't take her long to fill her parents home with plants and when the indoor shelf space was filled she then saved her money for a greenhouse. Seed by seed and propagation by propagation she grew enough plants to... open a shop!
Little Plant Cabinet open it's doors on June 26, 2023 and has been open 7-days a week since. She sells succulent propagations out of vintage crystal glassware that she and her mum thrift from around the city.
Sofia has recently expanded her shop to include houseplant propagations in bud vases, mushroom plant companions, succulent macramé car air fresheners, botanical keychains and crochet pot pillows all handmade by herself.
